Huhne congratulates Hampshire Constabulary on outstanding work

"Hampshire Constabulary is simply doing the best job of any force for miles around."
Eastleigh MP Chris Huhne said that Hampshire Constabulary deserved high praise for its outstanding performance in the Home Office police performance assessments.
Commenting on the news today that Hampshire rated third overall of all the police forces in England and Wales, Mr Huhne said: "Hampshire comes out third across the nation for its overall performance, which is a tribute to the Chief Constable and all his team for their dedication and hard work. This is impressive. Hampshire Constabulary is simply doing the best job of any force for miles around thanks to high detection rates for household burglary and robbery, good results from major crime investigations, and improvements in all seven different performance areas".
