Eastleigh MP Chris Huhne participated in a special cheese festival at Eastleigh College's "Red Carpet" bistro and restaurant to celebrate some of the outstanding local dairy produce.

Chris said that both the Hampshire cheese and the food cooked by the town's young catering trainees at Eastleigh College were delicious. "The Red Carpet restaurant is one of the best kept culinary secrets in town" said Chris "and it is open for lunch and dinner during term times with prices from £4.75 for a three course meal".
After meeting the enthusiastic cooks and other restaurant trainees, Chris said: "The enthusiasm and dedication of these students shows that you cannot have too many cooks".
