HURRICANES GET A SEND-OFF FROM EASTLEIGH MP CHRIS HUHNE

Eastleigh Rugby Club's newest team - the Hurricanes - received a special send-off this weekend from local MP Chris Huhne.
Mr Huhne visited the path-breaking team, entirely made up of youngsters with special educational needs, at their practice session at Bishopstoke Rec.
"This is the twelfth team at Eastleigh Rugby club, but one of the most significant because the Hurricanes are a pioneering idea not just across Hampshire but across the whole of the south of England" said Mr Huhne.
"It is great to see the youngsters play with such enthusiasm and dedication" said Mr Huhne.

So far, the Hurricanes have played matches against another Eastleigh team and against Totton, and will be going to Worcester shortly for a weekend tour.
