Eastleigh MP Chris Huhne has pledged his support and to 'do his bit' for the Royal British Legion's general election manifesto.
The manifesto outlines support for Service personnel and their families, bereaved Armed Forces families and the ex-Service community, and the key actions the British Legion would like the next Government to take to improve the welfare of serving personnel, past and present, and their families.
Commenting, Chris Huhne said:
"The British Legion has a vital role to play in transcending party politics on the issue of troop welfare and I am delighted to lend my support to them and their general election campaign.
"Our troops do an admirable job in very difficult circumstances and the invaluable work of the Royal British Legion must be supported now and in the future by all political parties."
