EASTLEIGH MP SAYS "WELCOME BACK" TO ALSTOM

Eastleigh MP Chris Huhne has welcomed the news that Alstom will be bringing work back to the engineering depot on the main line at Eastleigh, which the company had previously shut.

Chris Huhne said: "The revival of the Eastleigh works pioneered over the last two years is now continuing apace with the Alstom announcement, and is great news for the town and local jobs. Eastleigh was born as a railway town, and the revival of the works puts the heart back into the local community".
