Fair Oak and Horton Heath Liberal Democrats

Fair Oak and Horton Heath Ward is one of the Liberal Democrats' strongest areas in the constituency. Liberal Democrat successes include:
- Successfully campaigned for a pedestrian crossing across a Botley Road to help school children get to and from the Wyvern School campus more safely.
- Campaigned successfully for more playing fields with the provision of sports pitches, a pavilion and a large area reserved for nature conservation with public access.
- Worked towards building a youth centre in Fair Oak, construction of which began in summer 2006.
