Liberal Democrat successes in Netley Abbey Ward include:

  • Campaigning to protect doctor's services in Netley Abbey from plans by the Labour-led Primary Care Trusts to centralise local surgeries at new premises at Hound Corner.
  • The development of Hamble Community Sports College, with a new gymnasium currently under construction which will bring world-class sports facilities to the area.

Netley Abbey Ward on the banks of Southampton Water and overlooking Fawley, includes Netley itself and the Ingleside area.
