Announcement on the passing of Her Majesty The Queen

'We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of The Queen, and mourn her passing alongside her family and the whole United Kingdom.

The Queen has been a figure of duty, courage, sacrifice, and compassion. She led from the front as a moderniser, both of the Royal Family and the country.

Today, alongside with the United Kingdom, Commonwealth, and the whole world, we remember, mourn, and celebrate the life and legacy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth'.

In light of this news, the Liberal Democrats have suspended all political activities until further notice. We urge people to lay flowers at Eastleigh Bandstand and sign a book of condolence which can be found in locations across the borough.
