Prad Bains
The community champion fighting for Hamble and Netley
Hamble and Netley By-Election - 6th March 2025
Prad says NO to Hamble Gravel!
Prad was one of the strongest voices that REJECTED the Conservative County's plans for gravel extraction at Hamble Airfield. Cemex have launched an appeal that will be heard from April 1st.
“I need Prad alongside me to make the case for our villages”, says our County Councillor Keith House. “Cemex will have a battery of London lawyers on their side. We will have common-sense and the voices of our community.”
We need a councillor who will stand up for Hamble and Netley. Prad will fight to make sure our villages are cared for.
The Lib Dems have a record of ACTION for our villages
Prad Bains and our local team have:
- OPPOSED plans from Cemex and County bosses for gravel extraction at Hamble Airfield
- FINALISED the Local Plan, despite Conservative opposition, with NO additional housing on the Hamble peninsula
- PRESSED Hampshire County Council to get on with long-promised action on Hamble Lane
- BLOCKED greedy developers' housing plans at Mallards Road and Hound Corner
- CAMPAIGNED to improve local GP services
- SAVED YOU MONEY by keeping Council Tax down
The Conservatives have axed vital services in Hampshire - and now they want to raise Council Tax by £230. Prad will stand up for Hamble and Netley
On Thursday 6th March, voters will have a clear choice at this by-election. They can send the Conservatives a message that they want a candidate in Prad who will stand up for our area and fight to protect local services.
